Why I Became a School Counselor, Part 2 (#14)
We continue this month's theme on "Why I Became a School Counselor" with stories from three counselors early in their careers.
Madison Smith is a second-year student in the MA School Counseling program at Ball State University, located in Muncie, Indiana. She is currently an intern at Wapahani High School, where she enjoys working alongside students as they begin to make college/career decisions. Madison is also a Graduate Assistant in the Educational Psychology Department and connects with students who are interested in the School Counseling program. During her first year of the graduate assistantship, she was able to co-author a book chapter regarding the development of trauma-informed MTSS.
